The Lima Classic

Many would consider themselves "friends of the Lima Classic."  Can you blame them?  Who wouldn't want to be counted among the luminaries list below?  Listed below are a few of the golfers, hackers, business owners, and all-around good people who help make the Lima Classic successful.  Check them out!

Many of you are probably interested in the name Lima (pronounced Lee-ma), and why wouldn't you be?  Such a unique name with the flavor of the "old world" and the energy of today's modern pace usually leaves people wanting "more of the Lima".  Ok, maybe that is a little much, but check out the interesting sites and sounds that are associated with Lima throughout the USA and world.

University of Lima-  Even institutions of higher learning are not exempt from the influence of the Lima heritage. 

 City of Lima, Ohio- Come and visit the one place where pronouncing "Lima" like the bean is accepted and encouraged.  When I get a chance to visit I expect to be treated like the "King of Lima."

Adriana Lima- Hard to believe, but there are even beautiful Lima's outside of New England.  Adriana is an  runway model who has worked for Victoria's Secret and Guess? 

Lima House- As I mentioned earlier, the Lima name transcends national boundaries.  Some of our friends in the U.K. run a fantastic bed and breakfast in Wales.  Next time we're in London we're definitely gonna check this out.

Lima Tours- Isn't always the way?  You travel to South America and just get plain lost??  Lima Tours solves that problem.

Lima Lima Flight Club- This is just plain cool.

Ponte De Lima Golf Course- A mountain golf course in northern Portugal.  The site mentions that the course provides "strokesavers for free which keeps players in a good mood."  Not really sure what that means...

Lima Golf Club- A semi-private golf club in New York state.  Yet, another town named for the many famous Lima pioneers in the new world.
